Our office is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment to provide patients with the best eye exams. Today's technology adds the benefits of earlier detection, diagnosis and management of serious eye diseases.
Digital Refraction adds a smoother and easier experience for both the doctor and the patient as we measure for your eye glass prescription. With the ease of one button, we can allow you to compare your previous glasses prescription to your new. Mineola Eyecare was early to this technology as well. We have had this option in our office now for over 10 years.
One benefit offered by the OPD-Scan III from Nidek and Marco is the ability to offer patients LASIK screening and co-managment. For those of you interested in LASIK read more about it on our Medical page. In addition, it aids in contact lens fitting when necessary and diagnosis of corneal conditions that cause difficult to treat vision corrections.
